Hedy and Yumi, you have set an example for all that when you appreciate others, they will also appreciate you. I learned to listen and I’m practising this in my own department. Each time my staff sits infront of me, I will not even look at my laptop. My attention is 100% for my staff. The aura of happiness and positivity surrounds all in my department. the 2 days workshop has open up a totally new perspective on effective communication for my team. Tentative listening to others comment and repeating the exact statement really makes one focus and understand the meaning of their comment thereby create a clear communication channel.
