World renowned teachers travel to Switzerland and Israel to host couples’ workshops, therapist trainings and be keynote speakers at 1st French speaking Imago Congress, this August and September
(MIAMI, Fla.) August 17, 2011 – Hedy and Yumi Schleifer (http://www.hedyyumi.com), international relationship builders and trainers, have announced an upcoming series of workshops and trainings they will host in Israel and Switzerland this August and September. In addition, Hedy has been invited to be a keynote speaker at the 1st French speaking Imago Congress on September 23 in Lausanne, Switzerland.
With more than 45 years of marriage and over 50 years of combined experience teaching relational skills and technologies, Hedy and Yumi train couples, leaders, organizations, coaches, and therapists in developing their relational intelligence towards relational maturity. Their methodology is based on the conceptualization of the “Three Invisible Connectors”: the Space, the Bridge, and the Encounter – the relational fabric that connects all systems.
“It is our privilege to be on a journey which is a “calling” and a higher mission,” Hedy and Yumi, explain. “We envision the creation of a relationally mature world by achieving a tipping point in the consciousness of the power of connection on our planet. Our next destination is Israel and Switzerland, where we will be teaching the “three invisible connectors”, the Space, the Bridge, and the Encounter.”
Hedy and Yumi will host two different workshops in Israel and Switzerland, including Adventure In Intimacy and Art of Sexual Connection. Adventure In Intimacy is a three-day hands-on couples workshop that teaches seven principles and seven essential skills for rebooting relationships, reconnecting more deeply, and rediscovering the joy of being together. Art of Sexual Connection is a two-day advanced workshop which gives couples the opportunity to reveal, deepen, and strengthen their sexual connection.
"The way they present their knowledge and their way of life is a source for healing and relationship building,” Hadass Kan, an Israeli couples coach, states. “In their very special way Hedy and Yumi make it possible to solve relationship problems and lead the way to mutual loving and caring relationships. As a couple who took part in Hedy and Yumi's workshop, we have received tools and use them to convert conflicts into a strengthened, closer and warmer relationship."
Hedy and Yumi’s workshop and training schedule in Israel and Switzerland is as follows:
- Monday, August 22 – Wednesday, August 24: Adventure In Intimacy workshop for Rabbis and their partners, Israel

- Friday, September 23: 1st French speaking Imago Congress from 9:00am to 10:45am at Hôpital psychiatrique de Cery Salle de conferences in Lausanne, Switzerland
The 1st French speaking Imago Congress aims to bridge the gap between knowledge of neuroscience and the clinical outcome of working with couples to better understand the brain relationship. It will pay tribute to the 10th Anniversary of the French Speaking Imago Therapy Association (AFTRI). Hedy and Yumi pioneered Imago Theory in Europe, teaching it for the first time in Switzerland, which eventually lead to the founding of the French speaking association. AFTRI has invited Hedy to be a keynote speaker. Her theme will be the “Three Invisible Connectors” and how through relational maturity, couples “sculpt” each other’s brain and activate new neuronal pathways.
