"I am not great. Actually, I am terrible at presenting. I lose any thought. I go into a white haze of panic."

"You are not alone," I say to Juliette who inquires about my Presenting with Boldness training. Statistics show that many Americans suffer the fear of public speaking: 75% of women do, and 73% of men do.

In a study done at Harvard, subjects were given two minutes to present a talk in front of an audience. Interestingly, those who said beforehand: "I am anxious!" were much more persuasive than those who said: "I am calm!"

The Harvard study inspires us to make our nervous energy work for us. Being nervous is a form of adrenalin. The Harvard study encourages us to use our nervous energy in a positive way, to help us give an impassioned presentation.

"I would love to work through this fear of public speaking, but I wonder whether the workshop is too challenging for someone like me?" asks Juliette.

I have good news for you. It turns out that fear is "excitement" without breath. And so yes! the Presenting with Boldness course is for you, because it will teach you to transform your fear and your panic into passionate excitement, which is basic for being a persuasive presenter.

I look forward to bringing the "Presenting with Boldness" training to Miami on January 13-14, 2018. I am happy that participants are coming from Curacao, the United Kingdom, and from California, Colorado, Maryland, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, and Florida in the USA.

If you would like to transform your fear and your panic of public speaking into passionate excitement, and become a persuasive presenter, join me on January 13-14, 2018 in Miami, Florida.
