I am writing to you as a follow-up to Hedy’s announcement of Yumi’s retirement, and my subsequent departure as Hedy and Yumi’s Operations Manager.

On November 22, 2005, thirteen years ago, Hedy and Yumi hired me to organize, upgrade and administer their operations. We initially had five days together before Hedy and Yumi left on one of their many trips to Israel and Europe. While they were out of the country, one of my first tasks was to find and set up a new office location, moving from Pinecrest to Miami Beach, FL. Over the years we moved the office twice more, and now it’s time to close the Miami office entirely. My last day will be February 28, 2019.

These last days are bittersweet as I both reminisce on the many accomplishments of the last thirteen years, as well as keep a positive outlook on what may be around the corner for me. In addition to organizing the many events worldwide, three accomplishments that come to mind are:

  • fully automating the office administration, and event marketing, inquiry, registration and follow-up process,
  • launching Hedy and Yumi into social media with a new Facebook page which now has over 3000 followers,
  • sourcing and managing the production of all Hedy’s audio and video programs as CD/DVDs and digital downloads.

In addition to physical accomplishments, I’ve connected with so many wonderful people that have attended Hedy and Yumi’s programs. Picking up the phone and calling people has never been my forte, but each of the thousands of conversations I’ve had made it worthwhile. If I had the privilege of connecting with you over the years, please share who I was for you, and the level of service I gave you by leaving a recommendation on my LinkedIn profile GeoffSwetz. Your testimonial will contribute to my life resume, and hopefully catch the eye of a future employer.

As I begin to discover which career doors I want to open, I will probably start to do some virtual / project work for people and companies where I can make a difference. If I had to classify my many talents as one category, it would be “Efficiency, Productivity & Automation Expert.” If you believe I can assist you with your company or project, please contact me. Also, if you are a career or business coach and would like to assist me in bringing my next path in focus, I would love to hear from you.

Although I will no longer be working with Hedy and Yumi, my assistant Patty will continue to support Hedy, and will be available to you. You may reach her on the same office phone number, 305-604-0010, and via email at Assistant@HedyYumi.com. She has been with me for five years already, and is able to assist you with all your questions and requests. You are in good hands.

The last thirteen years working with Hedy and Yumi have been extremely growthful, rewarding, creative, gratifying, and a complete joy. Thank you for allowing me to assist you, and be your connection to Hedy and Yumi and their mission.

Warm Regards,

Geoffrey Swetz
